Background. Michael Todd (“MT”) Wilson, LPC, PCC earned his BBA in Actuarial Science from Georgia State University and began his career working for a well-respected consulting firm. After several years, MT returned to graduate school to pursue licensure as a professional counselor, earning a Masters in Counseling from Georgia State University and a Certificate in Christian Counseling from Psychological Studies Institute (now Richmont Graduate University). He has been a Licensed Professional Counselor for over fifteen years.

Throughout his 15-year career as a License Professional Counselor, MT gained clinical experience: as a clinician through Charter Hospitals (now Saint Simons By-the-Sea), Rapha, Minirth-Meier/New Life Clinics and Florida Hospital; as a psychometrist working alongside psychologists contracted to perform evaluations for the Impaired Physicians Network and the Florida Office of Disability; and as a licensed counselor in private practice, both in Central Florida and the greater Atlanta area.

As a certified sex therapist, MT is co-founder of the Intimacy Counseling Center in Suwanee, Georgia, along with Dr. Doug Rosenau, Dr. Michael Sytsma and Vickie George. He also serves as director and co-founder of ShepherdCare, a nonprofit ministry that offers support and training for ministers by promoting health and long-term effectiveness in ministry.

Today. Intentional Hearts, Inc. exists to provide professional-grade life coaching for Christian men, ministers, business professionals and parents by telephone and video calling, including a specialized focus for coaching Christian men in the recovery and pursuit of sexual integrity.

Qualifications. MT is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), with post-graduate coaching training provided by the Professional Christian Coaching Institute (PCCI). He is also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Georgia, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Florida, and Certified Sex Therapist (CST) with the American Board of Christian Sex Therapists.
